DESCRIPTION:Join us online for our free 6-week Emotion Regulation and Distress Tolerance Group. Places are limited so please book to secure your spot. \n\n\n\n\nThis group runs for 6 weeks every Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00pm\, from July 16 – August 20. \nThis group may be a good fit if you want to: \n\nUnderstand your emotions and learn how to respond instead of react\nDiscover practical strategies to manage stress and tough situations\nStrengthen resilience and confidence in daily life\nUse mindfulness to stay grounded when things feel overwhelming\nConnect with others in a supportive online community\n\nThe program draws on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills\, giving you simple\, effective tools you can put into practice straight away. Sessions are led by supportive provisional psychologists\, who will guide you as you learn and practise new approaches. \n\n\n\n\nProspective participants may be asked to undergo a brief eligibility screening to ensure that the group aligns with their current needs and goals. \nIn addition to the group sessions\, we offer free individual counselling for both adults and children. This additional support is available for those interested in one-on-one sessions to complement their group experience. \nYou must be in Australia at the time of the group. There is no cost or Medicare referral needed. Self-referrals are welcome\, so please get in touch today at clinic@acap.edu.au. \nGroups are facilitated by final stage students under close supervision of experienced professionals.

Places are limited so please book to secure your spot. \n\n\n\n\nThis group runs for 6 weeks every Thursday from 3:00 – 5:00pm\, from July 16 – August 20. \nThis group may be a good fit if you want to: \n\nUnderstand your emotions and learn how to respond instead of react\nDiscover practical strategies to manage stress and tough situations\nStrengthen resilience and confidence in daily life\nUse mindfulness to stay grounded when things feel overwhelming\nConnect with others in a supportive online community\n\nThe program draws on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills\, giving you simple\, effective tools you can put into practice straight away. Sessions are led by supportive provisional psychologists\, who will guide you as you learn and practise new approaches. \n\n\n\n\nProspective participants may be asked to undergo a brief eligibility screening to ensure that the group aligns with their current needs and goals. \nIn addition to the group sessions\, we offer free individual counselling for both adults and children. This additional support is available for those interested in one-on-one sessions to complement their group experience. \nYou must be in Australia at the time of the group. There is no cost or Medicare referral needed.
