DESCRIPTION:Neighbourhood and Community House Week is an annual national event which celebrates the significant role played by more than 1\,000 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres in supporting local communities throughout Australia. It celebrates the incredible work happening in local communities. \nIt is a time to recognise the people\, projects\, and everyday moments that bring communities together and make neighbourhoods stronger\, kinder\, and more connected. \nJoin Brimbank in celebrating Neighbourhood House Week with fun activities and learn about local services and programs available to you. \nThere will be activities for all ages and skill levels. \nActivities include: \n\nWhat’s in my Backyard: Garden and Sustainability activity\nKinda Gym\nFace Painting\nBasketball\nTable Tennis\nPatch Work\nPottery: pinch pot hand building\nGardening\nBrimbank Service EXPO\nCraft Activities & many more\n\nLive entertainment and a community barbeque on the day. \nPlease Note: all children must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times. \n– Free onsite and street parking available.\n– Event is held indoors and outdoors. In wet and extreme weather\, all outdoor activities will be moved indoors.
