The School Holiday Showbags program is delivered during each school holiday period for young people aged 10-17 in Brimbank.
Every school holidays, Brimbank Youth Services runs a Showbags Ballot, which offers low-cost vouchered activities to young people aged 10 to 17 who live, work, study and/or socialise in the city of Brimbank.
If your ballot entry is successful, your showbag will cost you only $16 (or $6 if you have a valid concession card).
What’s in the show bag?
A double pass to one of our Brimbank Leisure Centres
Plus one of the following:
- Double pass to either Sunshine Village Cinemas or Watergardens Hoyts Cinemas
- Double pass to Sunshine Rollerskating
- Double pass to driving range or 9-hole round at Keilor Public Golf Course
- Double pass to mini golf at Mt Derrimut Golf Course
Please note: When completing the ballot entry form, you will be asked to nominate TWO preferences. If you are successful, you are not guaranteed your first preference.

Can I enter more than once?
You can only submit one entry per young person.
How will I know if I’m successful in the ballot?
You will receive a text message notifying you of your showbag and collection point.
We will also send out text messages to unsuccessful entries.
When and where can I pick up my showbag?
Showbags are available for collection during the school holidays at the Brimbank library location you selected as part of your ballot entry.
We will provide specific collection dates in our text message to you.
Why didn’t I receive my first preference?
Due to high demand, not everyone is guaranteed a showbag and second preferences are always taken into consideration.
Can I pick up my showbag past the collection dates?
Showbags are only available for collection during the specified collection dates – these dates will be sent to you in a text message.
