Brimbank Community Recovery Grants

 In News

Brimbank Council is offering one-off Community Recovery Grants to support new, or the expansion of existing, innovative community-led and community-based initiatives that contribute to the community’s COVID-19 recovery and strengthen resilience. There is evidence within our Brimbank community of deterioration in mental, social and physical health, as well as economic hardship and financial stress.

The Brimbank Community Recovery Grants Program will replace the 2020/21 Brimbank Community Grants program. The Grants will support the community and local businesses as part of the Brimbank COVID–19 Response and Recovery Strategy.

Due to the constantly changing COVID-19 restrictions, these Community Recovery Grants will be rolled out in two stages to allow the Brimbank community to plan and implement responsive activities and projects:

  • Stage 1 Round opens on 24 August 2020 and closes on Sunday 4 October 2020
  • Stage 2 Round will open in early 2021, dates to be confirmed.

Eligible not-for-profit organisations, community groups, and organisations are invited to submit a grant application.

Please note local businesses may apply for financial support via the Brimbank Business Recovery Grants Program.
