Council’s Annual Draft Action Plan and Draft Annual Budget

Sydenham Neighbourhood House, Brimbank Youth Services alongside Community Engagement, Finance, and Corporate Planning and Performance delivered a youth consultation to support young people’s capacity to provide feedback on Council’s Annual Draft Action Plan and Draft Annual Budget for the financial year 2023/2024.

The young people provided valuable insights and questions about the budget and action plan and have expressed interest in providing feedback through Council’s Your Say page and in future engagement opportunities. It is important to provide opportunities for young members of the community to engage in Council decision-making processes and in turn feel empowered to provide their expertise to inform Council decisions.
