COVID-19 Service Changes
Council is monitoring ongoing developments about the spread of the coronavirus.
As new measures are put in place by the government regarding non-essential gatherings, Council has decided to postpone/cancel the following events until further notice:
• Brimbank Youth Week- All events cancelled
• School Holiday Show Bags- Suspended until further advice
• Brimbank Youth Council- Face-to-face meetings cancelled. Formal meetings suspended until further advice. We will be in touch with Youth Councillors to discuss how we continue to work together.
• Brimbank Young Researchers Program- Cancelled for 2020
• All in-school programs- Suspended until further advice
• The Bold Source Editorial team- Face-to-face meetings are cancelled. We’ll be in touch to let you know how we’ll continue to communicate using technology.
• B-Heard (Individual support) – Face-to-face meetings are cancelled. We will continue to work with you over the phone
• L2P Program- Suspended until further advice.
• Baby Steps- Face-to-face meeting are cancelled. We will continue to work with you through different communication platforms.
We’ll continue to update you about any further changes.
There is currently no effect on critical services including meals, household waste collection, cleansing, and park and playground maintenance.
