Crystal Queer Update
Crystal Queer returns in term 3 with a calendar of fun, fortnightly sessions that will nourish the mind, body and soul!
During the winter school holidays, the Crystal Queer crew along with their friends at Maribyrnong Youth Services had a fabulous time visiting the Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda – a marvellous, purpose-built LGBTQIA+ service hub with a stunning rooftop!
We also met with the legends at Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Monash Gender Clinic, Thorne Harbour Health and Minus 18 to learn about all the great work they’re doing with the LGBTQIA+ community. If you’re interested in learning more about the Pride Centre, click here.
Crystal Queer returns in term 3 with a calendar of wonderful fortnightly sessions, including some tie dye and badge making, self-care and self-love activities, food and mood workshop as well as a purple-themed Wear it Purple party and R U OK day party to acknowledge and celebrate these important awareness days!
If you’re a young person aged 12-23 years who identifies as part of the LGBTQIA+ community or as an ally, you can be part of the good times at Crystal Queer. Visit our webpage for more information and to complete an EOI.
Did you know Crystal Queer also has a monthly newsletter? It is filled with fantastic LGBTIQA+ events and opportunities in Melbourne’s west and beyond as well as an entertainment club with monthly TV, movie, podcast and book recommendations.
