Join Brimbank City Council in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community by marching with us in the 2025 Midsumma Pride March!
The Midsumma Pride March is an iconic Melbourne event, bringing together LGBTQIA+ community members and allies to march in unity, celebrate gender and sexual diversity and demonstrate our commitment to fairness, justice and equal rights for all. This is more than just a march — it’s a powerful moment to stand with our LGBTQIA+ community in Brimbank in solidarity and show we embrace diversity and celebrate everyone.
What you need to know:
- Registration: Number are limited so please sign up by 27 January 2025 to secure your spot.
- Online Briefing: We’ll have a short compulsory online briefing on 29 January via Microsoft Teams, so everyone marching will be prepared and informed.
- Marching Orders: There might be a bit of a wait before we take our turn, but trust us, it’s worth the wait!
- Participation is voluntary for staff — you’re welcome to join us and celebrate, but there’s absolutely no pressure.
- Friends and families of staff are welcome.
- LGBTQIA+ packs will be given to all marchers to help celebrate the day.
This is an event for EVERYONE — all backgrounds, identities, abilities and intersectionalities are welcome!
