Welcome to The Bold Source magazine; a ‘Brimbankian’ magazine – made by young people for young people!
The Bold Source is a youth magazine led by an editorial team of young people between the ages of 10 and 25. The annual magazine acts as a platform to share young people’s stories.
The Bold Source is a space to showcase the diverse and layered experiences of young people in Melbourne’s West. Stories are how we make meaning in the world, and we want to creatively share stories to inspire, educate and uplift.
Joining the Bold Source editorial team is an opportunity to contribute to the following:
• Promoting and encouraging the creative endeavours of young people
• Building young people’s editorial capacity through training, networking and professional experience
• Producing an annual, youth-led magazine
If you are an artist, a writer, or if you have something to share, keep an eye out for opportunities to submit your work throughout the year. You can also join the editorial committee too
We meet weekly on Wednesday via Zoom, from 4.15pm – 6.00pm
