PROGRAM OVERVIEW
In partnership with Brimbank City Council, Victoria University (VU) Polytechnic’s offering our FREE ‘Skills and Careers: Your Way’ to young people in the City of Brimbank.
This 5-week program is designed to build skills awareness and a better understanding of career and training opportunities for those looking to get into the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors. Facilitated by VU Polytechnic in collaboration with industry and community, the program aims to equip participants to prepare for work and training opportunities.
HOW IT WORKS
From day one, you’ll connect with local industry partners and support services, including our Skills and Jobs Centre.
You’ll participate in a range of workshops targeted at discovering trade and building your transferable skills to broaden your mindset and assist with job readiness for the manufacturing and infrastructure industries. Throughout the program you will be well-equipped with resources to support you and your learning, as well as access to support and further training services upon completion to continue your journey.
