Submissions are open for The Bold Source Issue 5!
Are you 15 to 25 years old and have a connection to the Brimbank area? Do you have a story to tell about your life and where it’s taking you?
The Bold Source is looking for submissions to Issue 5, Walks of Life!
The people in our lives and the experiences we’ve gone through can shape many different things: who we love, our career choices, where we live, and how we view the world around us.
But various obstacles and things out of our control are overwhelming our generation. The future is unclear, so how can we make choices for our lives?
Whatever roadblocks or struggles we’re faced with, we have to find a way to move forward. And when you’re moving forward, are you hopeful or anxious about the future?
We are looking for fiction, non-fiction, poetry, art, photography and comics about:
- Life paths
- Immigration
- Family
- Career + education choices
- Defining moments
- Life outcomes
- Identity
- Different perspectives + stigma
- Community
- Your own take on ‘Walks of Life’!
