Have your say on the first LGBTQIA+ Action Plan for Brimbank

Our draft LGBTQIA+ Action Plan 2023-2027 aims to create a safe and inclusive community. It values all people and the diversity they bring through their:

• sexualities
• genders
• ages
• ethnicities
• cultures, and
• abilities.

It is important that we support, connect and empower our LGBTQIA+ identifying community.

To do this, Council’s role needs to be well defined and realistic. We need to ensure our services, programs and events are supportive and inclusive. And address injustice and social inequality.

That’s why we have created the draft LGBTQIA+ Action Plan, and we invite you to have a read and tell us what you think.
